Edmund Optics® uses a variety of in-house state-of-the-art metrology technologies to ensure that all specifications are met, as well as conducting testing of environmental and physical durability. Product testing certification and spectral measurement reports are also available upon request.

Configuration Management (Document Control)

Edmund Optics® utilizes a system of document control processes for establishing and maintaining consistency of a product’s performance, functionality, and physical attributes in accordance to their specifications and operational performance requirements. Whether stock or custom, this procedure is applied to all products throughout their entire lifecycle.

These processes, accompanied with software applications such as SAP, ensure that Edmund Optics manufactures accurate products every time.

Edmund Optics® adheres to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), a set of government regulations that controls the manufacturing and exporting activities of defense articles.

ITAR registered and compliant, Edmund Optics® manufactures ITAR optics with the strictest confidentiality. ITAR regulations dictate that information and materials pertaining to defense and military-related technologies may only be shared with U.S. Persons unless authorization from the Department of State is received.
