TECHSPEC® M12 Imaging Lens Accessories provide various options of adapters and holders for common M12 applications. C-mount adapters are available with or without an O-ring. The O-ring is recommended for use with most M12 lenses with a full M12 x 0.5 threading to help center the lens in the adapter, while preventing the lens from defocusing. For Infinite Conjugate M12 Imaging Lenses, using the C-mount adapter without O-ring is recommended because the thread in either component might only meet the gap of the other. The counter nut sets the M12 lens secure in nearly any holder and due to its slots and holes, it can be used with nearly any spanner wrench. The knurled surface also allows the lens to be set by hand. The board holder, made of durable plastic, allows easy integration of M12 lenses to customer specific video and sensor devices.
