Corning® Varioptic® A-PE Series Variable Focus Liquid Lenses are the next generation of Corning’s integrated liquid lenses, combining the performance of the A-P series lenses with a dedicated driver board. The driver board enables advanced features including temperature compensation algorithms, response time optimization for optical power changes, and sweep mode which acquires clear images while the liquid lens is still in motion. Each lens is calibrated to their included driver board, enabling ease of repeatability between lenses to simplify integration into OEM systems. Corning® Varioptic® A-PE Series Variable Focus Liquid Lenses are ideal for use in barcode readers, industrial inspection, medical imaging, and biometrics applications and are fully compatible with the AF Explorer Camera for plug-and-play operation. Development kits include lenses, drive electronics, cables, and software for easy use and integration via USB-A connection.
