IRis™ High Power Laser Detection Wand

The IRis™ High Power Laser Detection Wand is a laser detection wand designed to detect high powered infrared (IR) lasers commonly used in telecommunications datacenters. Designed with an infrared intelligent scintillator, this detection wand will fluoresce from laser inputs ranging from 1460 to 1600nm without producing false positives from lower power lasers. Featuring a glass active area and durable acrylic construction these detection wands are lightweight, portable, and robust making them suitable for indoor or outdoor use. The IRis™ High Power Laser Detection Wand is a passive device, requiring no external power and features a 35mm square anti-reflection coated active area, matte black finish, and lanyard. These detection wands are ideal for telecommunications and fiber optic work that require the validation and testing of high power IR lasers.
