Edmund Optics® opens Silicon Valley office

Edmund Optics® (EO), the premier provider of optical components, today announced its expansion into Silicon Valley with the opening of a new office. The location will house business development, sales and applications engineering dedicated to servicing the unique engineering and product development needs of the region. The Edmund Optics Silicon Valley office will also have a state-of-the-art lab for testing and system development, and a classroom for customers attending Edmund Optics’ regularly scheduled training courses.

The new office is led by William (Bill) Dover, Director of Business Development, Edmund Optics, who has been with the company since 2000. A veteran of the photonics and optics industries, Dover has extensive experience in technical sales, applications and business development, program management, and project engineering in a career spanning more than 25 years.
